"I had a lovely day today photographing some of the principals in the Alloa Ballet Company's (http://www.alloaballetcompany.co.uk) 2011 show Alice In Wonderland. They were all beautiful, with fantastic smiles. So how to choose just one photograph as my Photo Of The Day?
Well, this is the one that I chose, because I like the depth of field effect. This poor hedgehog is about to be the ball in a game of croquet, and the Queen of Hearts looks pretty fearsome. "

I'm honoured to be nominated, and am glad you like the picture. In truth, the kids were so good looking that I'd need to have really messed up to take bad-looking photographs!
