"After an early moring rise between Xmas and NY I boosted westwards to catch the light over Inverpolly.
A short wander to the top of Stac Pollaidh rewarded me with this incredible view looking across towards the peaks of Cul Mor and Suilven."
"Still dipping into the archives... another shot from that December day on Cùl Mòr. This is looking south from near the summit of Cùl Mòr (at c. 780m) to Cùl Beag and the peaks of Coigach. An Teallach is just visible on the far horizon (top left).
The shadow in the foreground is that of Creag nan Calman, a subsidiary peak of Cùl Beag."
"Taken last night from Cockenzie with the sun setting over Edinburgh.
Realised I was too late to get more prefered beaches so had to turn off at Cockenzie. No disrespect to any Cockenziens but there are nicer stretches of coast further south.
Long exposure of 10 seconds."
"The opera singer, Bill McCue, taken in a short studio session during a break in rehearsals for a concert we were both performing in. Bill was the founder of Scottish Opera along with the conductor Sir Alexander Gibson. Bill was a well loved and admired Scottish singer and musician. This is a scan from a 6x6 mono neg originally taken on a Mamiya 6x6"
And of course the quirky....
