"This is one of the first Mountain Hare photos I ever took.
It has just found it's way onto the front of a greetings card.
More details are on my website which I have just been updating today for the first time in ages due to rain keeping me indoors most of the day!
Have a great weekend everyone :-)"
"Been wanting to find a big hay field for a while. Had good weather today with what I call "Simpson" big fluffy clouds.
Not sure about this as I have a new PC that has a vivid LCD monitor and not been much good with B&W.
Image tonemapped and converted to B&W and finally Orton added."
"Not totally happy with the composition of this one. Will try a different framing next time."
"A view I always find surreal. Dashing for the 16:01 train to Edinburgh."

"I had been looking for a mono for a square frame that i have... this has to be a contender... loved the textures in the boat..."

"So this weekend my beloved Hassie 500C/M got nicked whilst I was up working at the Belladrum festival near Beauly in Inverness. The worst part is that the people who took it will have zero idea of what it is or how to use it or anything else. It sucks. My Lomo LC-A also got nicked, and it wasn't one of the LSI ones, which is an added blow.
Incidentally, they left my iPod. They must not have approved of either its ancient design (buttons on top), or of the music onboard!
Either way, now starts the long long process of trying to scrimp and save to replace it. I never usually take it to festivals, so it wasn't insured. Ugh. Lesson learned?
Incidentally, if anyone thinks that my Hassie photos are any good and wants to speed up the replacement process, then donations to the: "GetStephenBackHisHasselblad" fund can me made through PayPal"
"Musselburgh beach trolley graveyard, post sunset. As you'll see from the map location, definately a low tide & wellies expedition!
I'd love to get a trolley into Explore...so not posted to the usual 20+ trolley groups.
Favs therefore especially appreciated for this one!"

"A crescent moon rises over Dun Caan on the island of Raasay.
After uploading the photo, I noticed a very similar one taken in spain with a black and white border.
So I edited this one to have a similar border, I think it works."

"My granny taught in the Braes of Castle Grant just outside of Grantown on Spey. This is the back of the house, which is the school house. She taught anywhere from 9 to 19 children at a variety of levels before they went on, if at all, to the grammar."
"Venting off steam (well technically it is condensate; steam is an invisible gas...) at puffer VIC32's winch. Alongside at Crinan Pier and preparing to be boarded by another load of punters for trips round the bay during the Crinan Classic event. "
And of course the quirky....
