Solitude

Solitude, originally uploaded by netclectic.

"This was the first huge expanse of beach I came across after getting off the ferry at Lochmaddy on North Uist. I was surprised that this vast swathe of beach was virtually deserted, but after a few days cycling down through the Uists, Barra, Vatersay and Tiree I came to realise this was the norm, miles of beautiful sandy beaches without a soul on them."

Looks like a hell of a camanachd pitch.
