Ardnamurchan Lighthouse

Ardnamurchan Lighthouse, originally uploaded by bicameral.

"The isolated Ardnamurchan lighthouse is now a museum and well worth a visit for a trip up to the top and a chat with the lighthouse keeper. On the day we were there, the views to skye, the hebrides and south to the treshnish isles were all great. A little bit of post-processing means this isn't quite the right colour (the NE side of the lighthouse won't have seen an evening glow like this!). It improved the picture though."
