"Howwood is a small Renfrewshire Village located in Scotland. The village is 14 miles from Glasgow City Centre, and 7 miles from Glasgow International Airport. Despite being so close to these main centres, the village has an attractive rural setting amidst the scenic West Renfrewshire Countryside. And the fishing can be relaxing at the fly fishery amongst beautiful scenery ........."

"Not so long ago, a beautiful place to sit during the poor weather. There were tropical plants and butterflies etc here. Now, to the eternal damnation of Glasgow City Council, a ruin that is rapidly falling apart."

"Stirling Castle in the early morning mist
Driving to Stirling for a meeting, i saw this low cloud and had to stop the car and take a photo. It was as if the castle was suspended in mid air..."
"These are the chairs in the Knox Chapel at St. John's Kirk in Perth, Scotland. I was walking through the church taking pictures when suddenly the sun broke through the clouds and shone down through the windows right on these chairs. The combination of the light on the old wood was like a vision -- I had to try to capture the moment.
This is the first in a series of triptychs I want to do from this day in Perth. it was a very special day of our trip to Scotland."
