A great image from NE Scotland, an old windmill between Portsoy and Cullen.
Looks a bit like a Broch, but is 18th Century.
A bit presumptuous posting one of my my own photos on the Flickr Scotland Blog, but I must admit that this is one of my personal faves.
Oh and I post lots of photos, mainly from the Highlands and Islands, and the Black Isle where I live. Oil Rigs, Historic Buildings, my Family, Landscapes and Mountain Biking all feature heavily, for reasons that those of you who peruse my photo-stream will understand.
David posts a wonderful mixture of photos on the Scotland Pool, fantastic landscapes, great model sets, and a curious range of aircraft shots that are far better than anything I could ever hope to capture.
He also has a great eye for the details of life in the modern Scotland, whether neat B&W shots of old castles or Elvis impersonators in Union Street, Aberdeen.
This is a fantastic post from Pamela Adam - a total stalwart of the Scotland Pool, with a a wonderfull series of photos that diary her life, her family and Aberdeen and Aberdeen-shire.
She is also great at "lurking" in public places, including Aberdeen Beach and where-ever Aberdeen FC are playing.
And of course the quirky....
