Into the Light
"Lex and I were bored one winter afternoon and decided to go for a night shoot in the University Cloisters... *again*! We've more or less have shot every angle of the uni at night so we thought we would try something a bit random. These are the products of this experiment :)"

Sweet Painted Lady
"Another shot of my all-time favourite Fringe street performer, Anna. She was a delight to photograph, although as she was rotating (like a doll on a musical box) she was a moving target when I took this."

Shadows on a wall
"Winter sunlight on the wall of the old Brewery Cromarty. Serious contrast tweak to bring out the colours and shadows."
Waverley Station, Edinburgh, Scotland
"The station was first opened in 1846 and was rebuilt between 1892-1902. It lies between the old town and modern Edinburgh, adjacent to Princes Street, Edinburgh Castle and the Princes Street Gardens. The station serves over 14 million people each year.
Various refurbishments have been undertaken over the years, but the past still survives in the station's elaborate, domed ceiling where wreathed cherubs leap amid a wealth of scrolled ironwork"

Buchanan Street - Glasgow
20 second long exposure taken on a wet autumn night in Glasgow.
The street lamps all have blue filters, which is why I decided to take this shot, to hopefully capture the blue reflection from the wet surface.
This is how the original imaged looked once developed. Photoshop has not been used to enhance the colour.

The Golden Hour
I'm fortunate enough to work in an office building which provides some nice views over Edinburgh. This was taken in October 2005, during a particularly spectacular sunset. This shot was taken the same evening: West End Sunset

Bute 3 Lochside Rovers 0
"Bute V Lochside Rovers. A Bute forward takes the ball down the line. Bute gained promotion to the Marine Harvest Premier League with this win."

The God of Hellfire
"Another picture taken earlier this evening. One never knows with this type of photography what you're going to get until you see the result. However, it can produce very dramatic results."

OM1- Formation
"Olympus OM1 + Fuji Velvia 100F + Zuiko 50mm f1.4
Some neatly placed traffic cones in the Western Quad of the University of Glasgow. Vignetting caused by the Zuiko 1.4 being used wide open :) I love it!"

Glasgow Sunrise
"A great reward for the 'not-so-early' riser. Sunrise is around 7am in this part of the world at the moment. I only just caught the colour - it was gone within about 30 seconds of this shot being taken. Slightly cropped and sharpened, but no need to do anything with the colour it was perfect already."

Glasgow Science Centre Tower
"An elevator takes visitors to the top of this tower which is intended to swing in the wind."

An Autumn Evening
"It's a while since i've visited this mysterious abandoned farm close to Rowbank Reservoir, one of the few ruins in the area that's not marked on my map. Autumn really kicking in now as you can see, compared to this shot i took here earlier in the year when it was a bit greener. Shot taken about an hour before sundown :-)"
Blantyre in Infrared- The David Livingstone Centre Panorama (Zuiko)

Blantyre in Infrared- The David Livingstone Centre Panorama (Zuiko), originally uploaded by Krasnyi Fotoapparat.
"This panorama of my workplace was stiched from two shots taken with the Olympus Zuiko 28mm f2.8 Since it's a manual lens it does not have the 'hot spot' problem. And much sharper than the Eos kit lens too.
False colour conversion of red infrared image. Channel swabbed in photoshop."
